So here I am living in the Highlands of Scotland, endevouring to capture something of the beauty of this wonderful place and to share my images with others. But I was not always a landscape photographer.

Although I am from Cornwall in the S.W. of England, I moved to Canada with my family during my early teens. My mother became a stylist in a large photographic studio and my interest in photography was kindled.

By about the age of 16 I had my own darkroom at home and seriously persued this hobby. After highschool I gained a great job with a local studio. Most of the work was industrial and commercial, with some weddings and portraits. Since then I have been employed in several branches of photography, medical work in hospitals, general photography at a university, a school of art and fashion.

A few years ago I took up the digital challenge and also turned to landscape. This is now my main photographic interest, along with shooting for local building contractors.
